The Fellowship for the New Evangelization is simply a group of Diocesan Directors of Youth Ministry who are committed to the vision and ministry of Pope John Paul II. We exist to support one another in our positions and in our ministry to young people through the Youth Ministries in our (arch) dioceses.
Diocesan ministry is a true joy, but can be a difficult position at times with few peers within our diocese. The Fellowship allows us to gather on a regular basis with those who are truly our peers in this work. We also study the documents of the New Evangelization and discuss methods of bringing this vision to fruition within our diocese.
We love Jesus Christ, our Catholic faith, our Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI, and the deep traditions of our Church. We have committed ourselves to sharing these loves with the young Church of today.

At our annual gathering, we spend a significant amount of time discussing the documents of the New Evangelization and how we are attempting to implement this mission within our diocese. We also bring in priests and guest speakers to guide us in prayer and spiritual growth. Lastly, we always make time time for fun and fellowship. Here we are heading out Kayaking in Annapolis, MD.

| Are you coming to DC for the annual March for Life in 2012? Looking for something to do on the night before? The Catholic Diocese of Arlington will again be hosting an event. The evening will include Mass with Bishop Loverde, a concert, and finish with Eucharistic adoration. January 22, 2012. 6-10pm. Admission is $10 per participant. Many in the Fellowship brought young people to the annual March for Life Youth Rally in Washington D.C. on January 23, 2011. This year's Rally was filled to overflowing capacity with over 20,000 teens in less than 15 minutes. Many thousands more were at an overflow Rally at the DC Armory. God is raising up an energetic new generation of pro-lifers!
